FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to ship building by modular assembly and may be used at shipyards with horizontal building sites and vertical lifters or floating docks for launching. Proposed method comprises prefabrication of hull freight part units, making hull ends units and tanks, and assembling the ship from prefabricated units and tanks. Note here that every unit of freight part is made without deck and one crosswise bulkhead that make unit open compartment to be transferred to launching structure located at pool embankment to be arranged so that its open part is directed ashore. Then, said unit is lowered unless its bottom supper surface is aligned with embankment surface to use surface carrier to move the tank and to complete unit assembly by installing deck structures and second bulkhead, or final assembly is completed at launching structure.
EFFECT: faster building, lower labor input.
