SUBSTANCE: gland insert of blowout preventer includes a central hole and holes for retaining elements, which are essentially perpendicular to the central hole. Holes for the retaining elements are located from each other at the angle along the perimetre of the gland insert of blowout preventer. Each of the holes for the retaining elements passes through external peripheral surface of the insert and internal peripheral surface of the insert. Each of the holes of retaining elements has the appropriate device for fixation of retaining elements.
EFFECT: simplifying the gland connection of blowout preventer to equipment and providing non-permeable liquid-proof seal.
