FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: lighting device consists of the first, second and third groups of solid-state light sources (hereinafter - "SSLSs") that irradiate light with dominant wavelengths within the ranges of 430…480 nm, 480…520 nm and 600…650 nm and at least one luminophor that irradiates light with dominant wavelengths within the range from 530 to 585 nm. When the device is connected to a power supply, the combination of light irradiated by the first SSLSs group and light emitted by the first luminophors group, yields (in case there are no outside light sources) a colour mixture having colour coordinates (x; y) in the colour chart 1931 CIE within the area limited by the coordinate points (0.32; 0.30), (0.315; 0.35), (0.367; 0.4), (0.44; 0.43), (0.41; 0.367), (0.357; 0.33) and the lines connecting them. The second and third SSLSs groups considerably improve the lighting device colour rendering.

EFFECT: improvement of the lighting device operational qualities.
