FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: chromatograph thermostat consists of a housing with a door, a cover, a heat-insulating shield placed inside the housing with formation of a gap and a working zone inside the heat-insulating shield, a chromatographic column located in the working zone, a mixing chamber formed by a casing, inside of which there is a fan propeller, inlet and outlet channels with a sliding valve actuating mechanism, and a heater. The thermostat further contains a perforated plate lying between the working zone and the mixing chamber and a heat shield placed between the heater and the back wall of the housing. The heater is placed in the annular gap between the casing and the back wall of the housing.

EFFECT: avoiding direct thermal action of the heater on the chromatographic column, reduced air resistance and high reliability of operation of the thermostat.
