FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: on the outputs side the device with a synchronous electric machine with constant excitation is connected, via connective conductors (u, v, w), to the outputs of the drive current rectifier (3); within at least two connective conductors (u, w) corresponding semiconductor switches are placed that are linked (on the control side) to the corresponding control output of the control device (4A); on the input and on the output side the control device (4A) is connected to the error signal output (P) and to the control inputs of the drive current rectifier (3) respectively. According to the invention, the semiconductor switch is represented by a corresponding controllable asymmetrically closing semiconductor switch (8) placed within each connective conductor (u, v, w) between the drive current rectifier (3) and the synchronous electric machine with constant excitation (5).
EFFECT: simplified provision for a controllable protection circuit for the drive converter of the specific drive system.
