FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: stand-by amplifier comprises the first switch intended to connect on a one-to-one basis of P1-Pm inputs with m Q1-Qn outputs, where m and n are natural numbers meeting the condition m<n; the second switch intended to connect on a one-to-one basis of m R1-Rn inputs with m S1-Sm outputs; and amplifiers A1-An connected on a one-to-one basis between Q1-Qn outputs and R1-Rn inputs and signal paths L1-Lm are formed in compliance with the connection status between the input and output of each of the first and second switches, at that the signal paths L1-Lm connect P1 input to S1 output, P2 input to S2 output, …, Pm input to Sm output respectively through any A1-An amplifier, the connection status is of at least two types wherein each signal path L1-Lm has an identical length.
EFFECT: providing interchangeability of the active amplifier with a stand-by one at an identical amplitude and phase of output amplifiers both before and upon reswitching from the active system to the stand-by one.
