SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing upper sheet or lower sheet material (6) for application in production of disposable absorbing products. Method contains stages a) separation of first continuous linen (1) of material for sheet, which has side edges (2a, 2b) into second (4) and third (5) continuous linens by means of alternate concave-convex line (3) of cut, which passes in longitudinal direction along first continuous linen (1), and line (3) of cut is made in such way, that all areas (3a-3d) of cut are at distance from longitudinal central line (A) of said continuous linen; b) displacement of second continuous linen (4) in side direction relative to third continuous linen (5) in such a way, that straight edges (2a, 2b) of second and third continuous linens are parallel and adjoin each other, and longitudinal displacement of second continuous linen (4) in such a way, that succession of concave areas of edge and succession of convex areas of edge of second and third continuous linens (4,5) are match each other in longitudinal direction; c) direct or mediated connection of straight edges of second and third continuous linens with each other, with formation of compound fourth linen (6).

EFFECT: produced accordingly to claimed method upper layer of continuous absorbing product ensures displaced from center location of seam beyond the limits of area, which absorbing element occupies in finished product, which reduces risk of leaking.
