FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing clothing article with two melted longitudinal flangeless seams from base; forming seams by bending base in its intermediate portion. As a result, longitudinal side portions of front and rear parts of base overlap each other to form joining zones. Method further involves exposing each zone to ultrasonic energy of intensity sufficient to cut off material of joining zone at first location; simultaneously attaching material of joining zone to edge portion adjacent to initial location for formation of flangeless seam, which is protruding from article by 1.59 mm or less, preferably by 0.79 mm or less. In preferred version, each seam is made in the form of joined front and rear parts of carcass. Joining zone has layers of polymeric material, in preferred version nonwoven webs manufactured from 100%-polypropylene filaments.
