FIELD: production of disposable articles extensible in transverse direction, for instance, training shorts. SUBSTANCE: disposable clothing article has waist opening, leg openings and two side seams connecting front and rear base parts. ELASTICAL article has absorbing insert attached to inner layer of base. Base has four ELASTICAL side flaps, each ELASTICAL by attaching elastomeric part to it and by extending flap and elastomeric part so that side flap becomes resiliently extensible in the direction of initial extension. Front part of base is connected with rear part along seam on each side of article. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 15 cl, 17 dwg
