FIELD: salvage appliances.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sea rescue, in particular, using individual worn salvage appliances. The method to rescue a person in case of a shipwreck includes fixation of an air impermeable chamber on a body with a belt in the form of a yoke with a head, neck and chest sections having a joining element, and its filling with gas. At the same time the chamber is arranged with cushions, one of which is placed in the zone of the body centre of gravity, and the other one is used as the head section. A regenerative agent is placed into cushions, and ends of the chamber are equipped with a valve device.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities and higher operating characteristics of a salvage appliance.
