SUBSTANCE: claimed method comprises the active and passive protection of the crew and tanks assembly units against enemy fire. It consists in forcing the inert gas into fuel tank before the fight to release the fuel thereof after its exit from the tank to the tank engine. Pressure is increased to the magnitude sufficient for fuel liquid fraction ejection from the fuel tank at its destruction.
EFFECT: higher survivability.
