FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: valve includes a lined water-cooled shutoff disc and a lined water-cooled housing with a cover plate. The housing consists of a lined throat, attachment flanges and a cylindrical part, inside which there located are stop rings with a sealing surface, which form an inter-annular space between each other for arrangement of a shutoff disc. Stop rings are made as integral parts of attachment flanges. On each side of the inter-annular space there are two annular channels for the water cooling the stop rings and attachment flanges. Annular channels are connected with their holes to a common cooling water supply and discharge system. The ratio of location depth of contact sealing surface of the stop ring from upper edge of lining on it to the width of inter-annular space is equal to 1.0-1.35.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows reducing heat losses in the valve, improving operating reliability and increasing its service life.
