FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: thrust reverser cowl is driven by motor with relative motion transducer to output data on change in its displacement whereat motor is controlled subject to cowl instantaneous position at, at least, one section of its displacement from open position into closed position. Note here that said cowl instantaneous position is defined as a function of one absolute element of data on initial position and that on relative position with respect to said initial position outputted by said transducer. In case setting in motion is resumed after interruption, new definition of initial position is initiated.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of aircraft braking in landing.
