METHOD TO HARVEST SUNFLOWER DEVICE FOR ITS REALISATION Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A01D45/00 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture. The method to harvest sunflower includes gripping stems and their supply with the upper part to the zone of threshing. The sunflower is threshed by application of multiple strikes with flexible elements-beats at the sunflower at the side of seeds and at its reverse side. Seeds separated from the sunflower are exposed to post-harvest cleaning. The device to harvest sunflower includes a blade drum, an auger, a conveyor and a crusher of stems. Downstream the blade drum along with motion of the harvesting unit there are two drums rotating opposite to each other installed one above the other, on the entire surface of which along the circumference perimetre there are flexible elements-beats hingedly fixed. The upper drum is displaced from the centre of gravity of the lower drum aside from the blade drum and is fixed as capable of changing the position in the vertical plane.

EFFECT: due to strikes of flexible elements-beats at sunflower at the side of seeds, and the process of seeds release improves at the back side of sunflower.
