FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building and can be used in agricultural establishments engaged in selection and seed-growing activities. Device comprises frame (1), housing (2), flattening roller (3) with reefs (4) and drive, threshing roll (5) with pins (6) and drive, cylindrical threshing chamber (7) with receiving hatch (8) and pressure cover (19), with unloading hatch (10) and threshing head ejection cover (21), head flattening window, deck (11), shaft with drive installed along axis of chamber, spring-loaded table (14) fixed on the shaft with convex surface, spring (15) and spring compression force regulator (16), and deck cleaner. At that, pressure cover (19) is made with concave surface and retainer (19a), it is cantilever fixed above receiving hatch (8) and is made in the form of several serially installed rollers level with inner surface of threshing chamber. Deck is installed so that its longitudinal ribs (12) are located flush with inner surface of threshing chamber (7), and transverse ribs protrude deep into the latter by the value of diameter of their cross section. Device operates as follows. Initial position of the device: threshing roll (5) is retracted from threshing chamber (7) by a certain distance by threshing regulator (26), unloading hatch (10) is closed by cover (21), hinged pressure cover (19) is retracted manually from the intake mouth of intake hatch (8), i.e. receiving hatch (8) is open. Operator manually supplies the sunflower head with the seed surface upwards through receiving hatch (8) to the spring-loaded receiving table (14). Pressing cover (19) closes hatch (8), fixes it with retainer (19a) on the body, squeezing the head in direction perpendicular to its seed surface between spring-loaded convex receiving table (14) and concave pressure cover (19) with compression force preset by means of spring (15) and regulator (16) depending on humidity of thrashed heads: the more humidity of heads, the greater is the compression force. Then the heads are crushed and finished.

EFFECT: device provides complete threshing of separate sunflower heads without damaging seeds and without breaking the head integrity.
