FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hemosorbents. Proposed method comprises processing carbon hemosorbent by bromide trifluoride in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride at bromide trifluoride-to-anhydrous hydrogen fluoride ratio of 1:(2-4):10. Treatment is carried out in sealed reactor cooled down to -15°C to -25°C. Reaction mix is held for 4-5 days. After filtration and rinsing, it is processed by the mix of 1,3-diaminopropane and pyridine at the ratio of 1:1. Product is washed by 0.15 M-solution of sodium chloride. Produced hemosorbent with immobilised polyalbumin protein is shaped to 0.8-1.2 mm-dia pellets. Specific sorption surface makes 190-230 m2/g, total volume of pores does not exceed 0.40 cm3/g, volume of mesopores does not exceed 0.35 cm3/g. Sorbent contains fluorine in amount of up to 20 wt % and oxygen in amount of 11 wt %.
EFFECT: selective sorption of acute viral hepatitis B particles.
