FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of modifying carbon hemosorbent. The method involves treating porous carbon material with an air-water mixture in a fluidised bed and then drying the product. Granules of the carbon hemosorbent are further saturated with aqueous aminocaproic acid with concentration 5-20%, with ratio hemosorbent: aminocaproic acid equal to 1:10-1:20, at temperature 25-90°C for 2-4 hours. Filtration and drying are then carried out, followed by holding at temperature 120-350°C in an inert medium for 0.25-6 hours, boiling in distilled water for 1-3 hours and drying the obtained product on air at room temperature.
EFFECT: high adsorption capacity of the carbon hemosorbent to protein compounds.
