FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chips removing device, method of its fabrication and method of cutting tool holder machining. Proposed device comprises cutting tool holder consisting of a shaft to be fitted in machining tool or on machining tool holder, head to carry cutting tool, and vibrodamping material arranged between said shaft and head or on shaft in holding zone. Vibrodamping material represents ceramic material containing carbon nitride (CNX) composed of nano-sized cluster. Method comprises placing said vibrodamping material between shaft and head or on shaft in holding zone by spraying it by magnetron sprayer.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of chips removal.
