FIELD: packing industry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes film gathering in a gathering device comprising at least two roller mechanisms, each having at least one gathering roll and at least two response rolls. Besides, in process of film gathering the gathering rolls contact with its outer side, and only one of both response rolls contacts with its inner side. Then the gathered film is pulled onto the stack with the help of a putting device, moving it along the stack, and is straightened with this device. In process of adjacency of one first and one second sections of the film the gathering rolls contact with the inner side of the film, and both response rolls contact with its inner side. After reaching the end zone of the stack, the putting device is moved along the section of the stack oppositely to the putting direction, as a result of which the first section of the film adjoins the film that is already adjacent to the stack, then the putting device is moved along at least a part of the stack section again in the putting direction to apply the second section of the film onto the first section. In another version of method performance, in contrast to the previous one, after adjacency of one first section of the film the gathering elements move the film towards the stack to reduce the film distance to it. Then the putting device is again moved in direction of putting, and after reaching of the end zone of the stack the putting device is moved along the section of the stack opposite to the putting direction, than again in the putting direction. The difference of another version of method performance from the previous one consists in the fact that after reaching of the end zone of the stack the gathering elements are removed from the stack, increasing the film distance from it. The device for method realisation comprises devices, functions of which are specified by operations of method versions performance.

EFFECT: invention provides for increased stability of a parcel stack.
