SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of a crude mixture which can be used to make sculpture. According to one of the versions, the crude mixture for making sculpture contains gypsum binder, starch, cast iron shavings ground until full passage through sieve 008, and dry milk, with the following ratio of components, wt %: cast iron shavings 8.0-12.0; gypsum binder 82.0-86.0; dry milk 2.0-4.0; starch 2.0-4.0. In another version, the crude mixture for making sculpture contains gypsum binder, starch and dry milk, with the following ratio of components, wt %: gypsum binder 92.0-96.0; dry milk 2.0-4.0; starch 2.0-4.0.

EFFECT: sharp contours of the article made from the crude mixture, as well as easier processing of the surface of the sculpture.
