FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: compensation accelerometer has a sensitive element, an angle sensor whose output is connected to the input of a band-pass filter, a negative feedback realised from the output of a clocked JK flip-flop to the input of a torque sensor through pairs of waiting synchronous generators connected in series by data inputs, an asynchronous RS flip-flop, a precision relay element whose output is connected to the input of the torque sensor, a compensating negative feedback from the output of the band-pass filter to its input through a nonlinear element (saturating amplifier) and a filter with a transfer function (where T1 is the filter time constant, s is the Laplace transform operator).
EFFECT: device operates in self-oscillation mode and the measured acceleration is proportional to a digital code which does not depend on dynamic properties of the device, which increases accuracy and widens bandwidth.
