SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of drinks making. The jar for preparation of beverages therein by way of extraction or infusion contains the first compartment (12) for end beverage collection, the second compartment (14) containing a drinkable liquid and a filtering device (16) containing a substance capable to produce the required beverage by way of extraction and/or infusion. It is envisaged that the jar will be placed on a heating source after the jar cover opening and after the filtering device (16) actuation by the user. The cover contains an external rim section that is to remain attached to the jar side wall (20) when the jar is opened, an internal removable section that is to be torn off for the jar opening and a preset brittle line (34) separating the said removable section from the said external rim section.

EFFECT: invention enables to ensure increased safety of the cover handling and to present the jar blasting.
