FIELD: beverage packages.
SUBSTANCE: can end comprises central panel centered about longitudinal axis and having outer edge and leaf to be opened. The leaf is defined by tearing score and is connected to the central panel by non-detachable fold line. The can end has curved portion to create seam defining can end perimeter, annular inclined wall extending downwards from the curved portion and transition wall, which connects the inclined wall with outer edge of central panel. The transition wall comprises fluted part with the first area, which connects the inclined wall with the first annular bent. The fluted part is on the outside of the longitudinal axis. The first annular bent is fastened with the second area of the fluted part. The second area extends upwards from the first annular bent towards the second annular bent connected with the third area of the fluted part. The third area is attached to outer edge of the central panel.
EFFECT: increased ability of can lid opening, increased longitudinal stability, possibility to use blanks having lesser diameter for can end production and, as a result, reduced material consumption.
