FIELD: food industry; containers for drinks. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is used in application of hygienic coating onto container provided with tear-off lip which is left in upper part of container after its opening. Coating is applied to upper part by dipping it into nontoxic biologically decomposition liquid able to solidify in several seconds. Adhesive film, thus formed, covers at least the part of container provided with hole through which access to drinks is possible. Simple, money saving, effective and convenient method of coating provided. EFFECT: no adverse effect on environment. 7 cl, 4 dwg
