FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sizing grain at flat screens and may be used in chemical industry, medicine, agriculture, timber industry etc. Conical classifier comprises chamber with cover and flat screens with mesh size sequentially decreasing from top screen to bottom screen arranged one above the other. Said chamber is composed of truncated cone arranged in said carcass for inertial oscillatory motion. Said truncated cone has oval base whereat weight is fixed. Chamber cover is made from transparent material, for example, plastic. Quantity of screens varies subject to that of required fractions of sized material.
EFFECT: higher quality of sizing, better germination, simplified design.
