TEST BENCH OF PARAMETERS OF BELT WITH TRANSVERSE PARTITION WALLS FOR STEEPLY INCLINED BELT CONVEYOR Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G01M17/00 B65G15/30 

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: bench includes a piece of conveyor belt (2) arranged on frame (1) with supports (4) of channel-shaped section with possibility of arranging load sample (3). Supports are fixed with possibility of being offset and fixed on two inclined beams (5) of angle section. One end of the belt is fixed on crossbar (6) of those beams, which is connected to post (8) with device (9) for change of its height. Lower part of the post is installed on the frame. Lower end of the belt is arranged so that it can envelope drum (11) and be connected to suspension (12) for arrangement of loads (13) on it. Bearings of drum axis (14) are fixed on the frame. Lower ends of inclined beams are hinged on the drum axis. Three rigid partition walls are fixed in middle part of the piece of conveyor belt. Each partition wall consists of part (15) oriented normally to the belt surface and part (16) with transient curved section (17), which is parallel in relation to part (15); both of the above parts are located at a right angle to each other. The part adjacent to the belt is attached to the piece of flexible belt (18), which is fixed from upper side on the piece of conveyor belt. On the part of the partition wall, which is normally oriented to the piece of the belt, there cantilevered are pins (21) of variable length with their maximum height in the middle part of the partition wall.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of performing tests of parameters of the belt with transverse partition walls for a steeply inclined belt conveyor.
