FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: bench comprises a frame (1), a belt section (2) arranged in a inclined manner on it, a sample weight (3). Ends of the belt section are attached to crosspieces (4, 5). Inside the clear space between the crosspieces there are two channelled roller supports (6, 7). The upper crosspiece is connected with a rope (9) enveloping a diverting unit (8), and at the end of the rope there is a suspension bracket (10) with the possibility to arrange replaceable weights (11) on it, which simulate tension of the conveyor belt of the modelled conveyor after its breaking. The lower crosspiece is connected with a rope (13) equipped with an instrument (12) that register its tension, and the rope envelopes a diverting unit (14) and is connected with a helical drive (15). In the middle of the clear space between channelled roller supports on the frame there are hingedly fixed ends of the rope (18) of the rope catch with a support of the belt at the bottom, corresponding to the position of the weight-bearing branch of the belt with the weight arranged on it after its breaking and additional sagging of the belt in the clear space. Channelled roller supports and crosspieces are made with the possibility to adjust their cross profile. The diverting unit at the side of the upper crosspiece is installed as capable of displacement relative to the guides of the frame. The channelled roller support at the side of the upper crosspiece on the frame is installed with the help of a gasket (19) with controlled thickness.
