FIELD: mechanical engineering; overhead belt conveyors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed stand has frame, length of belt for carrying sample of load to be carried secured on frame, belt support device, instrument to measure belt tension and belt tensioner. Frame is hinge mounted on base for turning in vertical plane forming acute angle with horizontal, and end of frame with base opposite to hinge joint is mechanically coupled by turnbuckle. Trolley consisting of two wheelsets interconnected by longitudinal bar is installed on guide secured on frame to travel along guides. Replaceable upper and lower walls made to suit form of chute of conveyor carrying run are fastened on ends of longitudinal bar normally to bar. Length of belt for carrying sample of load to be carried is attached to walls. Upper wall is mechanically coupled with drum installed for rotation on upper end of frame and furnished with stop devices by means of flexible member. Lower wall is kinematically coupled with counterweight by other flexible member through deflecting sheaves installed on base. Counterweight is made in form of hanger with replaceable weights. Distance between upper and lower walls is taken to exceed predicted brake length when catching belt with sample of carried load, and spring-loaded stop is secured in lower part of frame for engagement with lower wall, and in lower part of belt length catcher is installed to be tested.
EFFECT: provision of checking parameters of catchers of overhead conveyor belts at different methods of resting of belt sides.
