FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: specimen with a thermocouple connected to it is installed on the table supports and a linear movement sensor is connected to it. Specimen is stretched at the temperature of martensite phase to the specified deformation, heated to the temperature of austenite phase; at that, the specimen length change is recorded by means of linear movement sensor, and the specimen temperature change is recorded by means of thermocouple. The relationship between the specimen deformation and temperature is obtained; then, temperature of phase conversions and value of recoverable deformation, which is calculated by the formula, is determined by applying the tangent method. Then, deformation recovery degree is calculated.
EFFECT: possibility of determining the following as per thermomechanical characteristics diagrams: temperatures of phase conversions, value of recoverable deformation and deformation recovery degree in comparison to the induced one.
