FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly dentistry and orthodontic therapy. A simulator for complete denture articulation physiology consists of a vertically movable upper portion comprising a jaw load lever and a plate for artificial upper jaw attachment, and a lower portion which comprises a lower plate formed with silicone pad cups, and an integrated dynamometer for load control. The silicone pads are matched by a degree of mucosal flexibility, and have different thickness and colour. The lower plate is completely movable in four directions by a hinge which is found exactly in the centre under the lower plate.

EFFECT: achieved simulations of physiological articulation from the first contact to the IP stages (multiple cusp-to-fissure occlusal contact) of the dentitions and creating harmonised occlusion of the complete dentures to determine a compliance effect on the occlusion balance, identifying premature contacts, and occlusion monitoring at the stages of preventive control.
