FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and may be used in spun casting of bimetallic iron blanks, for example, forming rolls with working layer of alloy cast iron and core with journals from cast iron with globular graphite. Flux contains the following substances, in wt %: sodium bicarbonate - 25.0-30.0, boric acid - 28.0-33.0, silicate block - 10.0-15.0, spirit-sulphide dreg - 0.5-1.0, sodium-carboxyl methylcellulose - 1.0-3.0, cement making the rest.
EFFECT: decreased volume of rejections, higher hardness of forming roll working layer inner zones.
