FIELD: packaging.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for cutting the bags, intended for emptying bags and for its use in the shelf area. The device comprises means for cutting package, for separation the package from its contents and for removal the empty package. And the means 21 for separation the contents from the package is a rotating drum 17 with openings 18 through which the contents removed from the package moves out of the drum, and with an opening 40 intended to remove the empty package. The drum 17 rotates freely and is suspended by means of at least one strap 28 passing around the drum 17, the at least one strap 28 passes over at least one rotating drive shaft 29.

EFFECT: invention provides increased reliability of work, reduced size, and reduced time for mounting/dismounting of the drum.
