FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: to decrease cross-section of wind intake moving toward wind flow, windmill comprises rotary bed, cross-arms, columns with energy intakes and central strut. Note here that energy intakes are composed of columns mounted between top and bottom cross-arms with flexible shutters partially embracing the latter and secured by their one edge along columns generating lines. While opposite edge is connected by coupled tie rods to appropriate edge of the shutter of opposite column. Note also that said columns are hollow and furnished with openings with webs. Said openings are located on one side of the column facing the flow.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
