FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: coupling band contains tape in a form of a ring, two neighbouring ends of which can be connected to each other via coupling device that contains tightening screw with head and fixing area and mating threaded element, where tightening screw can be screwed. Fixing area has, at least, one flexible area located at its length.
EFFECT: simplification of tightening screw and mating threaded element connecting process at coupling band installation.
