FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of farm animals feeding. During the initial measurement period, al the animals undergoing testing are fed (for at least 10 days) with a background fodder, specifically - homogenously adjusted fodder such as early mown cultivated hay for ruminant animals. Standard economically efficient rated balanced full saturation fodder for certain animals within the specific farm under certain zonal conditions of fodder procurement and maintenance, the animals fed without undernourishment i.e. with account for the animals' "opinion", the animals thus accustomed to the background fodder and that subject to measurement. Then, during the basic measurement period, background fodder bulk Mf is weighed and fed (without undernourishment) to the first group of animals with the background fodder feeding value Pf determined by way of division of the obtained animal products energy Af by Mf. Then, reducing the background fodder bulk to an amount equal to Mk and having fed the obtained mixture without undernourishment, one subtracts from the obtained animal products energy A0 the background fodder energy Pf·Mo with the feeding value of the fodder subject to measurement determined by division of the obtained energy of the fodder subject to measurement by its bulk weight Mk. Then one determines measurement uncertainty for the specified fodders feeding vale by the method proposed using a reference fodder.

EFFECT: method enables establishment of actual values of energy feeding values of all fodders, increasing the yield of animal farming products, excluding undernourishment occurrence and limiting half-starving animal feeding.
