FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, plastic surgery and can be used for correction of external contour of shin. Introduction of transosseous elements into proximal and distal fragments is performed. On each shin assembly of apparatus of external fixation is carried out on the basis of two ring supports in accordance with the scheme I,10,90; 1,3-9; II,2,90_IV,2,90; V,3-9; VI, 11,70, junctions of semicircles are placed in sagittal plane, all rod-screws are fixed to external semicircles. As transosseous elements II,2,90 and IV,2,90 used are original curved rod-screws, whose shank ends are curved with respect to their submerged part at obtuse angle and are turned towards the side of rod-screws I,10,90 and VI, 11,70. Osteotomy of tibiae are performed in upper third. Elongation of tibiae and preliminary correction of leg shape are carried out in apparatuses of external fixation. After that, their modular transformation is carried out by disassembly of internal semicircles. Fibulae are fixed to tibiae by means of screws at the level of distal tibiofibular syndesmosis.

EFFECT: method provides possibility of improving external and internal shin contours, possibility of bringing together both legs to their contact in apparatus of external fixation, reduction of number of scars from transosseous elements.
