SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to production of package for hot filling. Proposed method making and hot filling of package made from PET comprises the following steps: a) placing PET preform, b) blowing said preform in mould cavity, c) withdrawing the package from mould cavity, d) filling made package with fluid with temperature exceeding 80°C, e) sealing said package, f) package sterilisation and cooling, g) post-blowing shrinkage. Note here that at step a) PET preform is used consisting of copolymer based on terephthalic acid. At step a) temperature of, at least, a portion of preform exceeds or equals 110°C. Mould temperature at step b) is smaller than or equals 65°C. At step d), at least, a part of package is heated for 1-5 s to 600° to 1000°C. In implementation of proposed method, package shrinkage and volume reduction are ensured. Package is produced and filled as described above and comprises ring zone shrunk on heating and arranged at package side walls, it crystallisation level is, at least, 2% higher that whatever other package part except for neck.
EFFECT: sufficient thermal stability, decreased weight.
