FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to blow moulding with extrusion to produce plastic bottles. Proposed system comprises blowing mould and rigid elongated preform with bottom on its one end and neck on opposite end separated by perform body by flange-like ring. Transition section is arranged below said ring formed by non-extrudable neck and extrudable preform body. Note here that preform OD measured on transition between body and bottom varies from 17.4 to 21.4 mm while wall thickness varies from 3.4 to 4.4 mm. Preform transition wall thickness varies from 1.4 mm to 2.2 mm. Aforesaid transition OD allows preform placed in blow mould the clearance between mould wall and preform outer surface varying from 1.2 mm to 3 mm.
EFFECT: high-quality of finished surface since contact between preform transition zone and mold takes place only after blowing start.
