FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to making and machining hydraulic cylinders used in various machinery. Proposed method comprises rough boring of hydraulic cylinder barrel bore, finishing and lapping said bore. After lapping, ledges are built up along barrel inner surface generatrix in area adjoining cylinder rod and piston edges.
EFFECT: simplified process.
