FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rescue appliances, particularly, to line throwers. Line thrower comprises handle with trigger and thrust, cylinder, safety device, easy-off cartridge and line. Aforesaid thrust lock harpoon with line in aforesaid cylinder. Harpoon is shot by piston actuated by compressed gas force. Harpoon end is provided with a float. Safety device rod interacts with harpoon via system "lever-thrust". Line is laid in easy-off cartridge rigidly fixed at line thrower. Line extending end is connected with harpoon. Line thrower is driven by pneumatic system.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher safety, ease of use and servicing.
