SUBSTANCE: first a device is designed, and then manufactured, which includes a cylinder-cone tip, which is telescopically connected with the body of the cylindrical part, where a cylindrical compression spring is freely placed, besides, the rear part of the body is closed with a threaded cover with the possibility to control spring pressure at the cone-cylinder tip, at the same time against the specified cover the ball support is rested fro, the mechanism of linkage of tip movements with a recording head, which comprises a writing vertical spring-loaded rod, a support table, a paper tape with a mechanism of drive from a wheel moving on soil; recording is done using direct contact of the last part of the mechanism of linkage of tip movements with the recording head via a profile stop, kinematically connected with the recording rod, besides, the mechanism of linkage is placed into a closed body sharpened at the front, and mutual displacement of linkage parts is selected so that the recording rod does not reach out of the limits of the paper tape, the drive of which is carried out from one of the ends, and the second one is left vacant, but both ends are equipped with reels for the paper tape, at the same time the area of contact of the cylinder-cone tip with soil at the specified depth is selected so that it is a whole number of times is less (or more) of actual contact of surfaces of actuators of an operating agricultural machine or a device with soil.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase accuracy and adequacy of measurements.
