SUBSTANCE: communication network (100) has an access service network entity (102), a policy and tariffication rule entity (104) and an authentication, authorisation and accounting entity (106), wherein the access service network entity (102) is adapted to provide information on tariffication options of the authentication, authorisation and accounting entity (106), and said authentication, authorisation and accounting entity (106) is adapted to decide on whether the tariffication option should be activated, and provide that decision to the access service network entity (102), wherein said access service network entity (102) is adapted to provide said decision to the policy and tariffication rule entity (104).

EFFECT: possibility of notification on options associated with tariffication of an access service network and whether said options are activated, owing to which online tariffication rules, which are matched with access service network options, are transmitted to the access service network.
