SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method performed by a packet data network (PGW) gateway, to control access of a user equipment (UE) to a deployed packet switching core (EPC) service through an access network not related to 3rd Generation Partnership Project (non-3GPP). Method comprises steps of: receiving, from a non-3GPP access gateway, during a UE connection request to a non-3GPP access network, identity confirmation information indicating the identity of the authentication, authorization, accounting (AAA) node; selecting AAA specified in received identity confirmation information; and transmitting to a selected AAA a request message for the UE, wherein the request message is an UE authorization request for accessing the EPC service through the non-3GPP access network.

EFFECT: technical result consists in enabling reduction of delay time when establishing a connection through a non-3GPP network.
