FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery industry. The device comprises a separating surface, made in the form of a flexible endless belt in the form of a body of rotation, such as a truncated conical drum 1. The inner surface of the belt is equipped with elastic fingers 2. The smaller base of the conical drum 1 is fixed on the cylindrical rim 3 rotating on the guide rollers 4 by means of the drive 5. Near the larger base of the drum 1 the support rollers 7 are mounted. On the frame 6 a deforming roller is placed with the ability to move in the longitudinal and transverse direction and the change of inclination angle, providing the creation on the inner side of the separating surface.
EFFECT: device enables to separate close to the dimensional characteristics soil clods from tuberous roots.
