SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. What is presented is an inhaler comprising a body for receiving a strip having a number of blisters with each blister having a destructible cover and containing a dose of a therapeutic preparation for inhalation by the user; an indexing wheel built in the body and rotating to drive the strip for the successive displacement of the blisters to align with the blister piercing element; a control element pivotally mounted on the body, and a drive mechanism designed to couple the control element and the indexing wheel during a part of rotation of the control element by the user so that to enable the indexing wheel rotating together with the control element.

EFFECT: invention enables the indexing wheel rotating while a cap or an actuator rotates in the same direction.
