FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric arc welding by nonconsumable electrode in atmosphere of protective gases. Load is connected directly to transformer secondary leads while inverter transistor signal triggering is carried out in the function of transformer magnetising current absolute magnitude calculated as the difference between transformer primary and secondary. Proposed device incorporates additionally transformer primary and secondary current transducers. Inverter control unit comprises adder, modulus isolation unit, magnetising current setting generation unit, comparator unit and counting trigger. Outputs of transformer primary and secondary current transducers are connected to adder inputs. Adder output is connected via modulus isolation with comparator input. Comparator second input is connected with output of magnetising current setting generation unit. Output of comparator is connected with counting trigger input. Trigger direct and inverse outputs are connected with current inverter transistor control inputs. Transformer secondary outputs are connected with electrode and article.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability, simplified design.
