FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: phase-shifting inverter converter includes inverter assembly (1) consisting of two half-bridge inverters - the first (drive) (2) and the second (driven) (3) one. Half-bridge inverters (2) and (3) are parallel connected as to power inputs (+U1, -U1) and in series as to power outputs. Phase-shifting inverter converter also includes the first and the second transformers (4) and (5) respectively and rectifier unit 6 the output of which is the output of converter (+U2, -U2). The first half-bridge inverter (2) is made on power transistors (7) and (8). The first half-bridge inverter (2) also includes resonance capacitors (9) and (10) parallel connected to power electrodes of transistors of (7) and (8), as well as power separating capacitors (11) and (12) connected to each other in series, and their chain is parallel connected to power inputs (+U1, -U1). The second half-bridge inverter (3) is made on power transistors (13) and (14). The second half-bridge inverter (3) also includes resonance capacitors (15) and (16) parallel connected to power electrodes of transistors of (13) and (14), as well as power separating capacitors (17) and (18) connected to each other in series, and their chain is parallel connected to power inputs (+U1, -U1). Inter-capacitor points (19) and (20) of power separating capacitors (11), the first and the second half-bridge inverter are connected to each other. End of primary winding (21) and beginning of primary winding (23), the first and the second transformers respectively are connected to each other at point (25), and that point is connected to inter-capacitor points (19) and (20) connected to each other. In its turn the output of drive half-bridge inverter (2) is connected to the beginning of primary winding (21) of power transformer (4) through additional resonant inductance (32), and output of driven half-bridge inverter (3) is connected to the end of primary winding (23) of power transformer (5) through balancing capacity (23).

EFFECT: reducing dynamic losses in transistors of phase-shifting inverter converter by providing conditions of their soft commutation at load current change and modulation angle of phase shift.
