FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer multilayer structures and a method of producing a polycarbonate multilayer structure. The structure contains two polymer layers, each made from a polycarbonate polymer based on bisphenol A. A component is placed between the polymer layers in the following two steps: a) the component is placed on the first polymer layer or is placed in a depression in the first polymer layer, b) the first polymer layer is coated on the side on or in which the component is placed, at least in the region of the component with a liquid agent containing a solvent or a mixture of solvents and a polycarbonate derivative, based on disubstituted dioxydiphenyl cycloalkane bonded to the same atom, c) an optional drying step is carried out after step b), d) after step b) or step c), the second polymer layer is placed on the first polymer layer covering the component, e) the first polymer layer and the second polymer layer are laminated with each other under pressure at temperature from 120°C to 180°C for a given period of time.

EFFECT: invention provides a method of laminating a temperature and/or pressure sensitive component between two polymer layers of polycarbonate in which there is no damage to or deterioration of the component, while ensuring high integrity and service life of the structure.
