SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machines for processing of sheets of paper and can be used for accumulating and tying sheets of paper, such as banknotes and security papers. The accumulating and tying device comprises a first accumulating device, the second accumulating device, the tying device, the basic carrier, and the sheet carrier. The sheet carrier receives the accumulated sheets from the first device. It passes the sheets to the tying device. It receives the sheets from the second device.
EFFECT: simplified design and improved performance is provided.
