SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of processing sheets. The feeding unit has a support surface inclined relative to the vertical direction, and the stacking surface which is substantially perpendicular to the support surface, at that the plurality of paper sheets is stacked on the stacking surface so that the paper sheets are inclined along the support surface. The gripping mechanism is made with the ability to grip the paper sheets from the side of stacking surface of the feeding unit. The transmission path is made with the ability to transmit the gripped paper sheets. The control device is made with the ability to control transmitted paper sheets and is provided in the position higher than the gripping mechanism in the vertical direction. The accumulation unit is made with the ability to accumulate the controlled paper sheets. At that the transmission path extends upwards from the gripping mechanism to the control device in a diagonal direction relating to the vertical direction upwards along the support surface, and the control device is provided diagonally along the transmission path.

EFFECT: increase of the reliability of gripping the sheets.
